Creative Destruction
This is a really cool little project that I stumbled upon while late night (net) surfing. Its stars the all time rad Australian surfer - Wade Goodall. Choosing the path of Freesurfing over Competitive surfing - Wade's journeys to come is inevitably up to you.
Explanation: The main theme for this project is Contrast. There are 12 Chapters to this thing and the motive of each chapter is for Wade to do something creative/destructive - hence the title. You as an audience are given the power to choose and vote which end of the spectrum and crazy antics he gets up to next.

Currently, its up to Chapter 3 but the decision as to whether he should Join The Circus or Flee The Circus is still pending.
Joining The Circus consists of Heading to Bali > 5 days > 5 different surfers > 5 different breaks. GOAL = Innovation.
Fleeing The Circus consists of Hitting the road South along Australia's East Coast > Experiment with man-made elements of Surfing > Find it. Design it. Make it. Ride it. GOAL = Get weird.

100 Abandoned Houses
This photographic series was started and created in the mid 90s by Photographer, Kevin Bauman. He used the topic of abandonment in his hometown, Detroit, as his ammunition for another one of his creative outlets.
"As the number of images grew, and a documentary style emerged, I switched from mostly black and white, to color, and decided to name the series 100 Abandoned Houses. 100 seemed like a lot, although the number of abandoned houses in Detroit is more like 12,000. Encompassing an area of over 138 square miles, Detroit has enough room to hold the land mass of San Francisco, Boston, and Manhattan Island, yet the population has fallen from close to 2 million citizens, to most likely less than 800,000. With such a dramatic decline, the abandoned house problem is not likely to go away any time soon."

Shenanigans.

(who is that guy with the glasses???)

And the contents of my bag the day after plus a bit of confusion.

1. Diary and pen
2. Wallet
3. Lippy
4. Gum
5. Iphone
6. Le Belle cd?
7. Ticket to unknown
The Le Belle cd. Though I vaguely remember acquiring it or it being given to me, I gave it a bit of a listen and turns out there's some pretty sweet tunes on it.
Check them out on : www.myspace.com/lebellemusic
And the ticket is .... I actually don't know what the ticket is for as it doesn't actually say on it. I guess I'll just have to go to the written venue on the date stated and figure it out then.
